The German Coeliac Society (Deutsche Zöliakiegesellschaft – DZG) was founded 1974 and started with 55 members.Today the DZG has more than 32,000 members.
Our aim is to help people with coeliac disease or with Dermatitis Herpetiformis Duhring. We also try to increase the publicity of coeliac disease and to improve the living conditions for coeliacs in Germany. Therefore we support different medical research projects.
We also collect information about the ingredients of food and pharmaceutical products from food and pharma companies. These information is published for our members, so that they can avoid eating gluten.
At the societys’ office you can have more detailed information about our offers (a few information are also available in English).
